What would you do if the kids were in bed, your husband was not home, and the doorbell rang at 10:00pm? I ran up to the door, peered through the peep hole, and shouted, "Who is it?"
No answer. The peep hole was empty. Nothing. No response.
I thought about opening the door, but I envisioned creepy guys jumping out at me. So I went back downstairs. I figured that I had just been doorbell ditched. I waited 10 minutes and then opened the front door. Sitting on my step was a small package. From FedEx! Yes, FedEx just delivered a package that was supposed to be shipped OVERNIGHT on DECEMBER 23rd (to give them a little credit, the bakery that the WHITE PRALINE FUDGE was ordered from apparently lost the order. They won't admit to it, but WHY ELSE would they wait nearly 2 weeks to ship a bakery item???)
So here I am, now 10:30pm, with a box of fudge. What would you do?
Oh, you better believe I'm digging in.
