The moments every mother hopes for....

Necco came home from school today and asked if she could make a cake. Out of the blue. She got to work right away, and made the entire cake and buttercream frosting completely on her own. She even added sprinkles to make the frosting colorful and fun.

And then she colored some of the frosting blue and added it to a plastic bag and started writing this:

"Get Well Soon"

My sweet nine year old made a get well cake for her big sister. Does that not warm your heart??

Aww, heck. It's close enough to Wednesday. I'm gonna count this as my Wordful Wednesday entry.
