Wordful Wednesday - Motherhood

Angie's Wordful Wednesday theme for this week is Motherhood, in honor of the upcoming opening of the movie Motherhood. This week, one Wordful Wednesday participant will win a set of four aden +anais swaddling blankets. I almost wish I had a baby to use these blankets for--I am hearing great things about them!

When I set out to write this post, I immediately thought of these pictures, taken by Bonnie of Sadie Days Photography this past July.

I love these images of me interacting with my kids, because I am rarely on this side of the camera.

It's hard for me to put into words what motherhood is to me. I keep staring at these pictures, filled with love and awe. How did I get so lucky?

It all started with my mom. She got me started in the right direction, and continues to teach me.
I have so much more to learn, and so far to go as a mother. I just hope that at the end of the day, my kids know I love them. Because I do. More than anything.
