Maybe They Weren't Really Costumes....

I don't know if it's the excess of candy from two nights of trick or treating or if some of those costumed characters that came by our house yesterday weren't actually costumed.....But AJ is not acting quite right. I couldn't put my finger on it until Candyman pointed it out to me. He's still happy and talkative and active. He just sounds like he's speaking Klingon. Take a look for yourselves:




Gotcha! Candyman was trying out a certain video editing feature and happened to edit this short slip of AJ talking about going on a walk so that it plays backwards. It has provided lots of laughter this weekend. The kids want to watch it over and over. So I thought I'd share the good times.

I have yet to get the pictures off of my camera from the festivities this Halloween weekend. Soon. Soon. The pictures aren't that impressive, so I guess I'm not rushing. Plus it's been a busy couple of days!

I'm curious--what was the best costume you saw this year? My favorite was a boy dressed as a McDonalds Happy Meal. A certain boy at the elementary school always comes up with the most creative ways to use a cardboard box. One year, he was a vending machine (that you added candy TO. How creative is that?!) I wish I could be so creative.
